Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend

As I'm not sure what my holiday plans are yet, I thought it best to post my holiday greetings early.  :)

Remember, clicking on the photos will enlarge them.

Above photo from Kat's double halo windup.  No real perm was done.  This video will be edited in June.

From Kat's Color Highlighting video (currently being edited).  Photo posted at Sabrina's request.  I wore the purple highlighting cap while posing in the video.  Trish tried to pull out some hair for the highlights, but we both feared that my hair would break!

From Kat's Color Highlighting video (currently being edited).  Photo posted at Sabrina's request.  Here's me in a plastic cap, Sabrina.  Trish is such a doll -- she let's me wrap up her hair in rollers.  I do need a lot more practice!

I've received several emails from people asking me if I'm on Yahoo Messanger or AOL whatever.  No, I'm not, and I don't ever plan on doing so.  But I can be found quite often from 10:30 am to 11:20 am central time in the chatroom on the www.haircuttingfun.com website.  Look for CHATROOM in the menu on the left.  All that I ask is please do not PM me.  It goofs up my writing and freaks me out a bit.  The reason I do not do PMs is that one time I thought that I'd try Yahoo Messanger, and then got hit with over 200+ PMs at once.  It crashed my computer.  If you want to write me something personal, please email me directly.  Thank you for helping to save my sanity.  :)

Currently my film computer is capturing the double halo footage.  Once I finish the highlighting video, the pink snap-on curlers video will be next, then the halo.  After that, the afro perm.  Once all that is done, I plan on editing 25+ DVDs of family video.  I promised that I would get that done this year.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The other day when I was grocery shopping, I spotted a woman in tiny green brush rollers, with the white plastic pins sticking in them.  Whomever wrapped her hair did a wonderful neat and tight set.  I told her that she was awesome and how great that she looked.  She looked shocked that someone would be complimenting her, but was all smiles when I left.

So if you see someone with a hairstyle that you find amazing, tell that person.  It will make their day, and will probably do it again.  Every woman should know that they are beautiful.

Most women would accept the compliment..if its a compliment and not taken as a joke. It would be really great to override the 'rollers in the hair is ugly' theme that women have been bombarded with for decades. Is it any wonder why Tabloids like to show secret pictures of actresses sans make up in curlers? Its a big joke. ha ha.

Re: Public viewing
I'm glad the photos are shown though. Once people get used to the idea that even famous women use curlers, they grow to like the idea. And some women will go out to buy the same curlers! :)
