ponytail chop off in The Handmaid's Tale

I just finished the second season of The Handmaid's Tale. In this season, there's one episode with hair cutting. In Season 2, Episode 1 titled, "June", around the 51 mark or so, Offred lets down her hair and cuts off her ponytail with a scissors.
