hair extensions update

Okay, first a quick update on the Kat Kempe Crop video.  I'm now at 33 minutes.  I'll try to post a preview photo either tomorrow or sometime this week, depending on my schedule.

A number of people have asked me how I'm doing with the hair extensions, so I thought that I'd address it here.  I love them, but I'm a little surprised by all the split ends that I had to cut off, and surprised that the hair gets tangled so easily.  The hair is very thick, so this summer will be interesting, especially if it is a warm one considering that us Minnesotans didn't get much of a winter.  We all here are wondering if this warming trend will continue.

Anyway, my hair becomes quite heavy when wet.  I don't use shampoo.  I just stick with conditioner.  (Something that I've done for years.  I only use shampoo for hair videos).

The pinch braids do itch at times, but it is manageable.  I can sleep just fine.  I always throw my hair up and over my pillow.

My son hated my long hair and begged me to cut the hair off for the first couple of days.  He's getting used to it now.  :)

So far, my hair has been braided, put in a ponytail, and put into a clip.  I have worn feathers in my hair too now.  (I figured that the feather look is much more adaptable in my longer hair).
