Haircutting Poem: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Thank you, P., for sharing this poem with me.

Much Hairdo about Nothing
(Much ado about Nothing - parody)

A Midsummer Night's Dream

To be or not to be
a set, a color, a perm
that is the question.
A haircut, prick me, do I not bleed?
A roller set under ye hairdryer
Per chance to dream - the undiscovered courtesy.

With a hay nanny nanny
and a hay nanny hay
Oh Rosaline, confirmation is made
on the twelfth night we shall see sight of ye.
My shylock, at my beheist, I do request
Renumeration for my beautifcation
Never woman - never a lender or borrower be.

With a hay donny donny
and a hay donny hay
Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou, Romeo
Distress ye not, my Juliet, I am here
to do your hair as you like it.
