Second, I forgot to mention that the windup for the perm machine was done as a halo. :) I still have not had time to count the pads, maybe today. I had a client come over yesterday who needed two videos done asap. I spent the rest of the day and evening working on those.
The vintage Hamliton Beach hand-held dryer died this past weekend, not that it will be missed by Clark. lol. This was the one that ate a lock of Leah's hair in her Hot Oil Treatment video. As I was drying the pink toenail polish on my toes for the barberette foot video, the hair dryer made a funny noise, stopped running, and smoke came out the top. I unplugged the smelly thing to give to my husband to take outside. He said the motor was burnt. I'm just glad it lasted as long as it did. But now I need a new vintage hair dryer!
I need my hair done in either perm rods or curlers for a couple of videos (one where I'm using an old bonnet hair dryer and the other where I'm shaving my face). Yes, I know that I said that I didn't want to film anymore, but I'll just film myself, that way I don't have to worry about hiring models and trying to get schedules together! (And I don't have to worry about getting the videos edited by a certain time). So if anyone out there wants to do my hair, just let me know. You must be able to wind my hair neatly. I'd like the halo, if possible. The windup will NOT be filmed. And you can stay to see me doing the two videos.
Oh, and I've been thinking about coloring my hair brunette. Yes, back to my original hair color! Someone requested this awhile back, and although I declined then, the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to do it! I'm thinking that if I go back to close to my original hair color, I won't have to worry about my roots showing. ;)
