today's video shoot

At today's video shoot, I was at Carmen's Hair Salon where I she gave me an awesome roller set and style.  Since we were short on time, I did not get a shampoo.  The cape used was a light, baby blue, plastic gown, which she ripped off of me when I was ready to sit under the dryer.  (It was a disposable cape. And this way, I didn't have to pull it over my head and disrupt the rollers).

I wore a cute pink vinyl top and skirt.  White trim.  White go-go boots as well.  Eye shadow - pink leopard print.  I'm currently capturing the footage to my computer.

In other news, I was told of an old-fashioned barber shop in Minneapolis.  I'll give them a call on Tuesday.  I have a model who wants her head shaved immediately and looked at me frustrated and asked why she still had hair.  Sometimes getting the location and scheduling everyone can take days, weeks, or even months.  The Jana video took three years.

Oh, and anybody who has ever wanted to have their hair done at Carmen's, don't be afraid to call her for an appointment.  (Serious inquires only!)  Please don't book and fail to show, because she could have had a real appointment in that slot.  So if you aren't ready yet, please don't call until you are.  Thanks!

roller set
Hallo Kat,

You have been descriptive & informative about your roller set. (Thank you)

Am a little bit surprised that you have not shown a photo of yourself displaying your roler set!

1. perhaps you did not have your camera phone today.
2. perhaps a very unusual & surprising rollers set.

Still it's your hair film and you never fail to delight us,am sure it's going to be totally awesome !!!

Re: roller set
Nope, if I'm filming it myself, I don't take photos. Photos will be released as I edit the video.

Best wishes,
