Last night I drove 90 minutes to pick up a 1950's Koken Triumph barber chair. It has yellow vinyl, chrome, and fake wood paneling. Everything works on it. The people who had it had the head rest on backwards, and they didn't know how to recline the chair (twist the handle and then push on the back). They had received the barber chair as a gift and used the chair as an armchair in front of the tv. The previous owner was a barber who had his station in an old folks apartment building before it was torn down.
The barber chair was brought to Mistress Lotus' dungeon, where it has a perfect area to be in. Mistress Lotus spend an hour cleaning the chair, and then I spent two hours cleaning it today, doing a minor repair, and lubing up the joints. Here's a couple photos of my new chair
I plan on doing a bit more cleaning, and replacing the cover of the foot rest when I return from Germany. But if someone wants to schedule a session with Mistress Lotus involving that barber chair, it's available now. Her website is www.mistresslotus.com
