Natalie Wass

So sorry.  Incredibly short notice.  Natalie, from the Natlie Barbershop Pixie Haircut and Face Shave video, wrote me on yesterday to announce that she's in a theater production.

Here's the copy of that email:

Hi friends,
Tomorrow night I'm dancing with the Boogie Blossoms as 'Little Purple Space People'!  It's super fun - info below ;).
Hope to see you there!
Your pal,

“Boogie Blossoms is proud to participate in Sample Night Live at 7pm on April 1, 2009 at History Theatre in downtown Saint Paul. Sample Night Live presents a dozen 7-minute previews of upcoming Twin Cities performing arts events (plus a new visual arts installation!) on the first Wednesday of each month.  Audiences use the playbill to opt in to the groups they love.  It’s a great way to learn what is happening in the arts scene and discover new companies and great local talent!  Plus, if you show up and vote for us, we could win the monthly Audience Favorite and be invited back to play the December Audience Favorite show and win Audience Favorite for the year!  Everyone who shows up gets the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the Guthrie as well as many other prizes donated by the groups performing that evening. Use Discount Code “BOOGIE” and get $5 off admission online. Buy tickets, check out the line-up and see the complete list of prizes at

awesome show
We saw the show tonight and really enjoyed the Boogie Blossoms. I looked on the internet but couldn't find much info about them. Is there a schedule of future shows or anything?

Re: awesome show
I contacted Natalie, and here is what she said:

"The Boogie Blossoms will be performing at an AIDS benefit at Patrick's Cabaret on April 18th (although I personally will be out of town for that event).

We are changing our group name to 'Inimitable Feets' on account of the range of acts we actually perform and will be performing as part of a cabaret also at Patrick's the first weekend of June too. For that show we will be Zombies through the decades...

I'll get you more info as it comes in to me. With any luck our fearless leader will get a website up eventually and there has been talk of a compilation show with all our different costumes (flowers, aliens, go-go dancers, zombies, elves...) but no word on if that will actually happen and I've never been very good at that side of the biz."
