life update and possible upcoming haircut

Several people have been asking about my health. I went in last week to have more testing done. They found a couple of suspicious areas and did two biopsies. I should have the results by the end of this upcoming week. I've already been told that I may have to have part of my cervix removed. No big deal though. It's not like I'm using it. lol

Now for some good news, as I'd hate to end this on a somewhat sad note. My fiancee and I decided to get married next October. And I'm currently in talks with him to let me do a (longer) pixie haircut. This is a bit step for him! We're trading photos.

Here's what I've just shared with him:

Here's a couple that I really like, but I know that he will reject:

Pixies
Congratulations, Kat! October must be the month for weddings. I'm getting married this October.

All those cuts look great, especially the ones you think he won't approve.

Forgive me for wondering aloud, please. As long as I have followed your adventures, you have enjoyed making changes, sometimes radical, to your hair. Your fiancée seems to have a more traditional, perhaps stereotypical, attitude about women having longer hair. I seem to recall a recent post where you mentioned his limit for your hair was no shorter than chin length, or something to that effect. How's that working out? I was, once, in a relationship with a woman and we didn't see eye to eye on things hair related. It proved stressful at times and, while it wasn't the only reason, I have no doubt it contributed to the demise of our relationship.

Please forgive me if I'm out of line. I wish the best for you and all the happiness possible.

I'm with Less (Kind Of)
I'm kind of a "love transcends hair" kind of guy. I have never told my wife how to cut her hair. I trust her to make her own decisions.

However, love also transcends everything else too. I would wish you nothing but happiness (and good health), so I don't really get a vote. I will send you a prayer.
